What is Therapy?
Therapy is a confidential process in which you and a trained professional will work together to address your mental health concerns, identify and resolve personal distress, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth.
Therapy is a confidential process in which you and a trained professional will work together to address your mental health concerns, identify and resolve personal distress, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth.
Therapy can be useful in addressing mental health concerns including (but certainly not limited to): anxiety, depression, grief and eating, work-related challenges, disrupted daily functioning, problems related distress, family conflicts, relationship problems, low self-esteem break-ups and transitions.
It can also be used to improve certain skills, such as effective communication, better formation and more.
That's not all though. We're all trying to figure ourselves out, and therapy can be helpful in allowing you in an uninterrupted space to help you navigate difficult emotions and figure out who you are.
Yes. What happens in therapy sessions is confidential.
Therapy is a gradual process and the exact number of sessions required greatly varies based on your concerns, the goals of your work and the therapeutic approach taken.
This, too, depends on your concerns, needs and goals. While we recommend meeting your therapist weekly, this pace works, however you can look with your therapist to decide what works best for you.
A typical therapy session runs approximately 50 - 60 minutes per session.
We're available from Monday - Saturday.
